Tourism sector

Guide visitors from the first idea to the actual stay.

Tourist offices welcome visitors at very different stages: some are still dreaming, some are planning a weekend, others just need a practical detail on site. We organise content by interest, season and need, with journeys that lead from trip ideas to accommodation, experiences and useful local addresses.

Web challenges

The challenges specific to your sector

A tourism website has to inspire, help people plan and inform them on site. These three moments call for different content, and that is where the main challenges lie.

Serve every stage of the trip

Problem

Inspiration, planning and practical information rarely sit in the right place; visitors have to piece it together themselves.

Solution

We structure entry points by interest, season and length of stay, linked to self-contained pages: access, hours, rates, accessibility.

Indicator

Path from inspiration to practical information, pages per session, bounce rate.

Make places and activities findable

Problem

Without structured pages, content disappears from local searches and visitors land on third-party platforms.

Solution

Every place, activity and event gets its own page, with the information that matters and data search engines can read.

Indicator

Traffic on local and themed searches, rankings on destination queries, clicks to providers.

Keep the site alive

Problem

Events, news and seasonal hours require constant updates the team does not always have time to make.

Solution

Page templates, roles and decentralised publishing: each department or partner updates what concerns them, with review where needed.

Indicator

Update frequency, freshness of the events calendar, team autonomy.

Details that make the difference

What Synara does that others don't

A site designed for residents rather than visitors.

Content written to help plan a stay, in the visitor's own words.

Provider lists with no photo, hours or directions.

Every listing places the site, gives useful details and leads to contact.

An events calendar updated once a season.

Events published as they come, dated and linked to their venue.

Practical information scattered across several sections.

One clear practical entry: access, parking, hours, accessibility.

Method

How we work

  1. Discovery

A call to understand your business, your customers and your goals. We define scope, timeline and budget.

  2. Design

High-fidelity mockups: you see and approve every screen before a single line of code is written.

  3. Build

Short iterations. You follow progress online, on a staging environment.

  4. Launch & support

Go live, measure, keep improving. You own everything: code, domain, content.

Questions

Before you write

Our partners already run their own websites. How do we include them?

We can gather their information into listings managed by your team, or give them access to maintain the listings themselves. The goal is to avoid double entry without losing editorial control.

Does the website need to be multilingual?

If part of your audience comes from abroad, yes, but not everywhere: we translate the pages that help plan a stay first — access, accommodation, experiences — rather than duplicating the whole site.

How do we handle one-off events?

With an event template that gathers date, venue, price and accessibility. Past events are archived so they do not clutter navigation.
